AVAILABLE HORSES
Our horses are on a regular schedule with the farrier, dental specialist and chiropractor. Horses are vaccinated yearly. They are wormed according to the health of the herd. As a fully operational horse herd, they have a good life– living as horses are meant to live. We want our horses to go onto homes where they will get more attention from an adoring few riders.
We sell to approved homes only. We only sell to homes that can give our horses an even better life than we can. You must have a veterinarian and fenced property with at least one other equine on property at all times, Your first time buying a horse? we would like to talk to you about that.
If you’re a beginner, don’t worry, riding lessons are available and horses are personally assigned based on your riding experience and preferences. If you have bought one of our horses and you EVER need us, please call. We care about our horses and their homes. It’s 5am four years after you’ve bought a horse from us and you can’t tell if your horse is colicing? Call us. Period. We love our horses even after they’re gone.

Stormy is an awesome 15.1hh, 8 yr old, gelding, so fun to ride! He’s been trail rode all around and has all the fancy buttons to make a ranch horse. Does well in the arena with a nice walk, trot and lope. He has a nice handle and turn around. Takes both leads and super big stop. Crosses water, ditches and any terrain you put him in. He’s an easy keeper and perfect stall horse. Stormy has no quirks about him rides the same every day! He’s super gentle and stays quiet! Stormy sells sound and 100%. Shoes all the way around!
RINGO $3500

Ringo is a stocky built, 15.3hh, 13 yr old, Grey Gelding. Ringo is a trail horse deluxe! He has made his living as the “Trail Bosses Horse” at a local horse camp and has led countless riders across hundreds and hundreds of miles. He has also made a couple TV appearances on RFDTV. He will flatfoot walk or he will move on out when asked. He has a natural 4-beat gait and will gait smoothly for anyone! Ringo is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle in anyway. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. No matter where he goes or what he does, Ringo is not spooky. On the trails he is always great and super steady! Ringo has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do.
CUTTER $4000

Cutter is a 15.2hh, 6 yr old, Black/White Tobiano Gelding! Storm has been trail rode all over Eastern Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia. He has been camping for 3-5 days each trip. He is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Cutter will flatfoot walk on a loose rein and will move out in the smoothest 4-beat gait that you will find!!! He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. No matter where he goes or what he does, Cutter is not spooky. BUDDY $5000

Buddy is a 2015 Quarter Horse gelding, standing 15.3 hands. Buddy is a big, stout, athletic gelding that is ready to go in any direction. He has been used to trail ride, fox hunt, rope and ranch off of. He is an extremely honest and sweet gelding that is easy to fall in love with. This is the type of horse that you can work on all day or grab from out of the pasture after time off and jump on and will be the same horse every time. If you’re looking for something to spend all day in the saddle with or just play on, this is the one.
Buddy neck reins, backs and side passes to make opening and closing any gates easy. He lopes both leads beautifully and has no problem switching them.
He loads, stands quietly and backs off a trailer with ease. Buddy is hobble broke and will stand to be clipped, saddled, groomed and for farrier. He will side pass up to anything to make mounting easy and is quiet taking a bit.
Buddy has been trail ridden many miles and is not spooky. Good with cars, dogs, tractors and most everything you will encounter on the trail. He will walk any way he is faced and will cross any water or log. Buddy especially LOVES swimming. You can take him to doctor, sort and rope off of and he will be trusty all day long.
I have had a lot of fun riding and working this horse. He is extremely easy to get along with and loves all the attention he can get. He will be the first to greet you in the pasture every time and will follow you anywhere you go. You will be sure to love him if you meet him. He is healthy and sound with clean radiographs and negative coggins.
BOSTON $6000

Boston is a 5 year old , 15.0hand QH gelding. Boston is a wonderful, fun, been there done it kind of horse. He has spent a lot of time on the trail and will go anywhere that you ask him to go. He crosses creeks, goes through deep water, goes over bridges and is easy to take down the road in busy traffic. He is a sweetheart in the barn and just loves attention. He gets along great with other horses in the pasture and has no bad habits at all. He came through our program with ease and takes every new thing in as if he had done it his whole life. He has three smooth easy to ride gaits and knows his leads well. You can ride him with an english or western saddle. He has a good neck rein and also direct reins well too. He has been around a lot of different types of farm animals and nothing bothers him. He has seen lots of different animals on the trail and does not startle when something jumps out ahead. He will ride away from the barn alone or trailers well to any location and rides in a group either in the front or the back. He is wearing shoes all around because of where we ride. He does well for the farrier and the vet and has been a lot of fun to have in our barn.

Buckskin QH Gelding, 12yo, 14.3 hands, Super for any level rider, handy broke with a nice neck rein, steps off into either lead, and a big stop. Excellent on the trail, good on the road and is quiet with a rope. this wonderful big guy is like melted chocolate, so delicious and smooth! He is a fancy mover, has his leads, elegant and balanced W/T/C, and will enjoy a trail ride. Takes you right to the jump with confidence and consistency. He has excellent ground manners, is easy to catch, lead, load, hauls, stands tied, bathes, grooms, picks feet, saddles, bridles, stands for mount and dismount and is good for the vet and the farrier. He loads in the trailer well and is quiet in new places.
